Amys Vacation Story

Little did we know it would turn out a night-mare for our family... We went the first week in August... We traveled for two days... Then we finally arrived in Florida, after driving 17 hours.... We checked into our Hotel/Motel about 11:00 p.m. Then we went straight to the grocery store, to get breakfeast for the morning... We shopped for about 45 minutes... Then we all heard a loud scream, and then a bang... We all looked up there and saw this lady running from a guy with a mask. He was about 6 feet tall, and about 200 pounds... He had a gun, and he actually shot it. We all thought we were going to get shot and die. There were actaully for people, The other three were running down the aisles, telling people to get down on the floor. We made to the back exit. My Family and I, were all in the Freezer section, and we were about 20 to 25 feet away from the guy with the gun... He didn't shoot any-one... But they pointed it down our aisle at my Family and I... I think they just wanted us to get out or run... Once we were out of the store we went on the other side of the trees and bushes, behind the store. (Publix) I left my purse with my i.d. in it but they didn't get that. My brother called the COPS, and about 5 to 10 minutes later they finally arrived... We saw the getaway truck turn the corner. It was a bigger red truck, we couldn't see good because it was really dark. The Cops actually caught them, but because of one lady giving a wrong statement, they let them go. So they all got away with $11,000 dollars. Then about a week after that we were in the eye of Hurricane Charley.. So we definitlly had one exciting Vacation.. The Vacation to Remember
